Updates! for Tuesday!!

Made about 30 cards today. The goal today was create kids cards! I ended up with 30. And the big one for "16" is for my granddaughter who is turning 16 on the 10th. I can't beleive she's grown so fast!

I'm winding down my card making for the show. I have a couple more general cards to do and that will be it! Now I have to critique and price and put sets together! It's all coming along nicely. It's been a lot of work, but I'm praying daily that it will be worth it all.

Updates and new pictures

New items!! The jumbo clothespins to use as a photo holder or recipe holder. Done on both sides.

Well, gang, I've been pretty busy. I made a bunch of cards yesterday and finished more. Then today, I did some re-organizing and made more cards. One style some of you have seen before. I'm done making Mother's Day cards and will do Father's day cards when my new stamp sets come in from Stampin Up..Can't wait!! Love those new sets!!

Royce finished the deck today. He put the handrails on and the caps for the post and the new lights we bought. I'll take and post updated pictures of the finished product in a day or so. He also re-did the original back porch and it looks all new and matches the deck. It's absolutely breathtaking. We will add lattice very soon to finish the bottom.

We're going to Savannah tomorrow to purchase the tent for the soon approaching craft show. I'm very excited about it!! We'll have a fun day shopping and spending a day in the big city!

Hello fellow blogger's!

I'm finally getting back to my normal routine! I've been busy in the"Shack" today. I feel like I accomplished a lot. I'll post the new additions..
Update on hubby: He's decided we need a deck. So, he's designed a 12'x 20' deck. He started it today. Man,w hen he gets his mind on something, he doesn't stop until it's done! He's going to also build a gazebo. He'll do the foundation work for it and finish it later in the summer. But right now he's determined to get the deck done. Man, there is no stopping him!! God Bless this man!

Good Morning! and happy Monday!

Well, gang, I'm not at home! I'm in the big city of Atlanta! I'm helping take care of the grandchildren while their mother is away for some training.
I've brought plenty of stuff to work on. I can't be a week without continuing to prepare for the craft show. Today, though, I go to the high school and will help chaperone my granddaughter's band trip. And I'll get to see her play!! Yippee! She plays clarinet.
So, this week will surely be a different one for me. I sure miss my new hubby already!!! He said he slept in the chair all night! shhhhhh! don't tell him I told you!

Bags, Bags and more!

Baby gift bags, anyone?? Or butterflies and dragonflies? I did these on Tuesday. They were a lot of fun. I used the cricut to cut out the die cuts on the baby gift bags. I'm trying to appeal to as many as I can.

This craft show is a lot of work.. I feel I have to have a lot of everything and it takes time to do it..As I've progressed in my card making I'm getting more and more detail oriented.

I do more than just make cards

The framed monkey is done on the back of the picture I had in there. I did the "throne" back with dried flowers. the shower curtain is hard to make out, but I took two picture's, one for the top and the bottom one shows the rug... On the window curtains, I just cut out monkey's using my cricut machine. Sandy helped me with this part. We shadowed it and they really stand out!

I just think they're too cute! A very fun project to do!!

I wanted to share with all of you something I did this past weekend. I do more than just crafts and etc. I like to decorate! And I love doing bathrooms more than anything...so here's my "new bathroom". Actually it's Royce's bath, but I'm chief decorator around here!
